Born in St.Petersburg in 1976, I started his music education with my father, who bought me a small acoustic when I was 9. It was quite cheap and always went out of tune but I managed to learn basic chords and went to Broxtowe Music School not so far from my house. It was a classical college and we went through a number of great classical composers such as M.Carcassi, A.Villa-Lobos, A.Vivaldi, J.Bach, F.Tarrega. At this time I also started to listen to acoustic rock, country rock and jazz music. I picked up solos by Chet Atkins, George Harrison, Brian Setzer and learned them by heart. Later, I was really impressed by seeing Tommy Emmanuel and Doyle Dykes live and went to Berklee College of Music in Boston where I did lots of jazz sessions with some fantastic musicians. After moving to London I attended classes and workshops of such masters of acoustic guitar as Eric Roche (GIT London) and amazing italian fingerstyle virtuoso Franco Morone. Both of them had a big impact on developing my style. Later I was collaborating with former Warner producer Richard Rogers, who made me play on the recording of Cambridge-based singer Darshan, french jazz singer Sarah Lenka (signed to Blue Note France) and many others. In 2007 I started recording my own album and this music you can hear on my website.
